Request data deletion
Effective October 4, 2026
You can request deletion of personal information held by Shopervisor, including information received from Facebook or Instagram. You do not need a Shopervisor account or an active connection to make a request.
Send a request
- Email [email protected] with the subject Shopervisor data deletion.
- Describe the information you want deleted and how you interacted with Shopervisor or a connected business. If helpful, include the relevant store name, Page or Instagram profile link, or post/comment link. If you have a Shopervisor account, identify that account.
- Tell us how to reach you about the request. Send only the details needed to locate the data. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card details or identity documents.
Requests are reviewed by theGKP. We may ask for limited information to confirm your identity or authority to request deletion. We will confirm the outcome or explain any information that applicable law requires us to retain. Reply to the same email conversation for a status update. This is a request process, not an instant or automatic deletion tool.
Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
To stop a connection's future access, use Meta's account settings to review Apps and Websites or Business Integrations and remove Shopervisor where listed. A business administrator can also review the app's assigned business assets and permissions in Meta Business Settings. Removing access and requesting deletion are separate steps; email us to remove data already held by Shopervisor.
What deletion covers
We review the personal information associated with your request, including relevant connected-account information, imported social interactions and identifiable records held by Shopervisor. We delete information that is no longer required or must be deleted, and address applicable copies held by our service providers. Where applicable law requires retention, we explain the reason and restrict the retained information to that purpose.
Deleting Shopervisor-held data does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account, independently published content on those services, or records independently held by a retailer or another provider. For those records, contact the relevant service or store. Deletion may prevent us from continuing features that depend on the removed information.
